Enter the Nigerian market with a partner who can install, commission and maintain what you build.
Ikedison represents international manufacturers and technology providers in Nigeria — combining commercial market access with the engineering manpower, spares and after-sales capability that keep your equipment performing on site.
Selling into Nigeria is not the hard part. Supporting the equipment afterwards is.
Operators here buy on lifecycle confidence: who installs it, who certifies it, who answers a call-out at 2am, and where the spares sit. A distributor alone cannot answer those questions.
Capabilities you would otherwise have to build yourself.
Market representation
Your brand carried into the Nigerian industrial market by a company that operates in it daily.
Technical sales
Engineers who can size, select and defend your product in a technical meeting.
Local engineering manpower
Mechanical, electrical and instrumentation crews available without mobilizing from Europe.
Aftermarket and maintenance
The capability that decides repeat orders — planned maintenance and call-out cover.
Spares and logistics
Import handling, customs, and stock positioned close to the installed base.
Compliance and local content
Nigerian company standing, documentation and HSE discipline on every scope.
Training and certification
Your technicians' knowledge transferred to a local crew and kept current.
Market intelligence
An honest read on demand, competition and where your technology actually wins here.
Four structures. Pick the one that matches your commercial appetite.
Exclusive representation
Ikedison is your sole route to the Nigerian market. We carry the brand, hold stock, and are accountable for every sale and every service call in-country.
A six-stage onboarding, typically inside a quarter.
Indicative durations. Actual timelines depend on documentation, certification requirements and tender cycles.
Your technology, our market view, and an honest read on demand and competition.
Product range mapped against Nigerian service conditions, standards and certification needs.
Model selection, territory, pricing structure, targets and term agreed in principle.
Representation agreement executed, company and compliance documentation exchanged.
Sales and technical training, technician certification, tooling and spares list agreed.
Client visits, tender registration, first quotations and stock positioning.
Technologies we already represent.
A good fit looks like this.
- Manufacturers of industrial equipment, instrumentation, safety or energy technology.
- Products where installation, commissioning or maintenance decides the sale.
- Companies with no permanent presence in Nigeria, or an underperforming one.
- Technologies relevant to oil and gas, power, manufacturing, marine or infrastructure.
- Partners prepared to train and certify local technicians on their equipment.
Before the first call.
Both structures are workable. Under exclusive representation we typically purchase and resell so the client has a Nigerian counterparty; under a service or joint-delivery model a commission or service-fee structure is often cleaner.
Yes. Fast-moving spares and consumables can be held in Port Harcourt, either on our own account or as consignment stock, so a call-out is not waiting on an import cycle.
Our engineers and technicians are qualified in the relevant disciplines and are trained and certified by the OEM as part of onboarding. Training is normally a joint exercise in the first quarter of a partnership.
As a Nigerian company with local engineering manpower, we can support local content positions in tenders. Documentation and compliance evidence are prepared per tender.
It depends on the model. Under exclusive representation we hold it and report to you; under non-exclusive supply or joint delivery it can remain with you, with us as the delivery partner.
Product range and pricing structure, technical documentation, an outline of certification requirements, and a nominated contact for technical questions. We provide company documentation, capability statement and references in return.
Tell us what you manufacture. We will tell you how it sells and gets supported here.
A partnership enquiry reaches the business development desk directly. Expect a technical and commercial response, not a brochure.
